The Triton 215X is a "great" big water boat. Powered by a 225 HO Evinrude it is not only fast but it's 21 1/2 foot hull, gives a relatively smooth dry ride on Lake Erie. It is rapidly becoming one of the most popular boats in the Professional Walleye Trail and other tournament circuits.

While not the length and beam that the typical Lake Erie Charter boat is, it is more in tune with what most Lake Erie trollers own or fish out of. We will only be fishing with a maximum of 4 people in the boat and because of the inability to troll with 10-16 lines like the big Charters we'll be working harder to find techniques and areas that hold the species of fish that we seek.

We will be trailering to where the fish are, so opportunities for finding big fish are unlimited. We can also fish areas that you prefer rather than limit ourselves to one area or long boat rides.

There is lots of storage so if you want to bring your own tackle to use there will be plenty of room. The goal here is not just to catch fish but also to learn how to find them in new water and the trials and errors that go along with that. My goal is to shorten your learning curve when you do it on your own.

NEW in 2006! I have a new cover for the boat to protect you (and me) from severe weather, be it sun, rain, hail or cold. For those really cold night trips in the fall and spring it will be rigged with a portable heater and enclosed see thru curtains.
